Hello Bowlers,
On behalf of the Sunshine Coast District Winter Bowls committee. our major business partners Sunshine Coast Council, Maroochy RSL, & Taylor Bowls, we sincerely thank you, your partners & friends for your support & participation, in our 2024 Winter Carnival.
Over the two-week period we had 1642 players contesting 13 events, which highlights the demand for a carnival offering value for money, in a friendly & competitive environment. This is a 33% increase over last year’s entries.
Inter – Intra State & New Zealand players represented 65% of the total with our local players at 35%.
We were very happy to pay out a record $44560 in prizemoney. $17560 in prizes 1st to 6th & $27000 for game wins. This should only keep increasing as the carnival numbers continue to grow.
Our new program for 2025, will be available prior to Xmas, we look forward to welcoming you back next year.
