The Sunshine Coast is gearing up for a thrilling and unforgettable 2026 Sunshine Coast Winter Carnival.The long-time coordinator Barry Sullivan has retired and leaves big shoes to fill. The success of the
carnival is due to Barry’s hard work and dedication however he has assured us we will see his smiling face around again next year to meet all his friends. A committee with representatives of all host Clubs has
been established to run the Carnival and we welcome new Event Coordinator – Gail Clewett along with new and returning members from all the clubs on the Sunshine Coast.

The committee is preparing to bring together another great 2 weeks of challenges, camaraderie and lots of laughs on the greens of the Sunshine Coast. Meet up with the friends you made in previous years or
make some new ones this year and challenge them to a great game in one of the Host Venues whilst sampling our renowned hospitality on the Sunshine Coast.

The 2026 Carnival runs from July 3 – 17 and again stands to be a popular competition with interest already coming from New Zealand and interstate. Bookings in the events will open in early January on our
website so watch this space and be sure to get your bookings in early to avoid disappointment. Our colourful Winter Carnival Bowls Magazine will be out by Christmas and will be available for
circulation from then on.
